Somebody with the email of redbridgestone@msn.com hacked it and put a car up for sale. He didn't hack the paypal account, thank goodness, so we didn't lose any money, but Larry got the whole car transaction cancelled anyway. In theory, we should have been able to retrieve the account and continue selling on it, but ebay seemed to have a huge bureaucracy to work through and we weren't getting anywhere. It was easier to start all over again as rafterbrothers.
The name rafterbrothers comes from an old auction barn joke. It is late in the day, the order buyers have all filled their quotas, many of the cattlemen have gone home to do chores, and the auctioneer is having trouble getting the day's market price out of a pen of cattle. So, to keep the bidding going, he reaches waaaay up in the back and takes a bid from the Rafter Brothers.
Interesting story. I wonder how he got you password? Have you done a spyware scan recently. If not I would. I can't think of any other way he would of got it. Unless you accessed your Ebay account from a computer other than yours.
